- The Hunter & The Hunted Bio -

Predator and prey. Love versus hate. There’s a freedom in the acceptance of loss. A strength in facing the reality of pain. Turning fear into anger. Anger into action. Dilating pupils and flushed skin. Our trembling breath. Panic attacks peace. The ever evolving nightmare becomes motivation for self preservation and protection for the one’s we love. Nature, and all of its laws. Everything that rises, falls. Eventually, the only response is to fight. The hunted will become the hunter. It’s only a matter of time. There is always a line.

Jesse Payne stems from a soil deep in the Southeastern region of the United States. He nests in scenic views of trees and mountains blending into valleys of skyscrapers and barns. Alabama and the Appalachian trail provide the canvas for his yellow shade of timeless polaroids transposing over lake and swing. A lifestyle suggesting an inheritance of owls and their nocturnal solitude. His sound and sight each born from a landscape of heavy cotton hands and autumn chairs.

His latest, The Hunter & The Hunted (Silent Crow Records.), will be released on October 4, 2019. The Hunter & The Hunted is an audio-painting of accepting consequences and drawing boundaries. A reaction for every action. Strategic improvisation rising from ashes. The future is unwritten.
